Root Canal ProcedureRoot Canal Treatment

Located inside of your tooth are dental pup and a complex root canal system. When this area becomes decayed or damaged, a serious infection can form, causing pain and throbbing. If left untreated, your tooth can eventually die and require removal. To prevent this from happening, Dr. Shuichi Yamaguchi, our qualified dentist, provides an endodontic treatment known as a root canal. The purpose of a root canal in Everett, Washington, is to restore the structural integrity of your tooth and alleviate pain.

Under the care of our dental team, treatment is virtually painless and generally takes only one or two visits to our office to complete. We first numb your tooth and the surrounding area with anesthesia and then gently open the tooth. All infected dental pulp is removed, your root canal system is cleaned, and the inside of your tooth is filled with a strong, rubber-like material known as gutta-percha. Your tooth is sealed with a dental filling or crown, based on your individual needs.

If you are experiencing severe tooth pain or throbbing, you may need treatment. Please contact us at 19th Avenue Dental to schedule your appointment as soon as possible. We are excited to help you maintain and improve your smile!
