The next thing you should do is clean and dry your cap and tooth. Also, try to slip the crown over your tooth. If you are able to place the crown over the tooth again, place a drop of dental cement or a denture adhesive to your crown and slide it back over your tooth. If you can’t access dental cement or a denture adhesive, a mixture of flour and water could work as well. Please, do not use super glue to cement your tooth.
Overall, perhaps the most important thing you can do is contact your dentist quickly. While you may not need to visit your dentist immediately, it is important to go soon. A dentist can give you specific advice and repair your crown.
